Jubilee Joy

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Jubilee Joy event on Thursday 2^nd June and special thanks to Washington Area Committee Neighbourhood fund for supporting our celebrations.

We were delighted to welcome 44 members of the local community for an intergenerational celebration of the queen’s platinum jubilee after an unprecedented 70 years of service.

Everyone enjoyed a Jubilee Film show including street celebrations and rare footage of 70 years of the Queens reign, a delicious buffet, games, tour of Bowes site and formed teams to take part in a fun quiz.
