Bowes Railway held it's first ever 1950's/ 60's weekend on Saturday 28th May and Sunday 29th May.
There was all kinds of entertainment happening across the site with Sunderland Car Club vintage vehicles including an assortment of amazing cars on show, a variety of talented independent craft stalls and some live music with complimentary sausage baps served.
A traditional miner's lunch of pie-pies and a cuppa served by the wonderful catering team went down a treat.
We would like to say a big thank you Sunderland Car Club and Tyne Tees Heritage Transport for supporting this event. Thank you to everyone who visited Bowes Railway during the course of our 1950's/ 60's weekend and we look forward to hosting more similar events in the future.
